My condolences.

Today, I had to skip recess for flying squad duties.(Also known as a bounty hunter for mosquitoes.Seriously.)
I left half a sandwich and a tin of drink which resembles 100 plus.(Its called H TWO OOH....get it??lol)
So I left it on the canteen table.
I put the sandwich in my friends lunch box because I thought it would be safer.
And I put the canned drink I bought on her lunch box.
Before you doze off because you feel that this post is boring, please don't. Interesting part coming soon.haha.
Anyway, after doing my duties I returned to the canteen only to find that not only did my canned drink vanish, but my friends lunch box also vanished!
Seconds later we were making a scene in the middle of the canteen.( If you lost something wouldn't you be causing a scene?)
Someone who overheard told us something that we couldn't believe happened.
Are you ready for this one?

Because I have something to say about it.

Pros and Cons of living in clouds.

PROS

1)No worries

2)The ability to float if there wasn't such a thing as gravity.

3)A great place for anti-social people . There wouldn't be anyone around to annoy us.

4)We could do anything we want! Scream, shout, go crazy on purpose.

CONS

1)No entertainment. Only source of entertainment? Watching birds chirp and peck us to death.

2) Would die instantly because clouds aren't solid. If a helicopter drops you on the cloud, you would be going right down on land again with a very new look. (Body drenched in a red substance. I'm sure I don't have to explain this.)

3)First person to have skin cancer due to the thinning of the ozone layer. Ultraviolet Rays means gone case.

4)with the drastic change in technology, who knows who or what might be looking at us. Am I right?

5)Its impossible to live on clouds! This is a major con! Seriously, it really is impossible.

Remember the Twilight season?

Almost everywhere we looked there would be a copy of Stephenie Meyers, Twilight.

It then progressed to the Rubik's season.

Everywhere we looked, there would be someone twisting and turning a colourful cube.

Guilty as charged, I was one of those fanatics.

Everyone either had the 3x3 cube or the 2x2 cube.

WANTED:Conical Flask. REWARD:Complete Plant Analysis

Based on the title, I'm sure you know that a conical flask has gone missing.
In the lab, a conical flask with a balsam plant in it was passed around.
Pass, pass, pass.
Then someone asked where's the conical flask?
Two flasks were passed around and only one returned from the grasp of us crazy teens.
How could a conical flask go missing?
I just don't get it!
Haha.
While the room was filled with whispers and people questioning the disappearance of the conical flask, the flask reappeared!
HAAA????
What just happened?
The second flask just reappeared.
Any logical explanation?
Well, every explanation we come up with is related to Science.
Some people are still on a picket fence.
A cross between Science and Magic.
But in this case, I'm not too sure about what really happened.
I'm just happy we got the second flask back.
Now I can carry on with the plant analysis .(I'm such a nerd. I'm excited about plants!)

Why the sign then?

I entered a shop yesterday.
There was clearly a sign which says,

Ok.
That's a normal thing in shops right?

As I was browsing, I noticed a little triangle container.
And I thought 'hey, that looks like an ash tray!'
But it was impossible.
An ash tray in a shop that doesn't allow smoking?
Then, I went to take a closer look.
I not only saw an ash tray, but I saw one filled with cigarette buds.

Stranded.What do we do next?

Stranded anyone?
Whether its a desert or an island no bigger than your house.
What do we do if we're stranded on an island/desert?

1)Since we would probably be stuck there for a long time, counting every grain of sand on that desert/island shouldn't hurt am I right?

2)Make jewelry out of coconut leaves and tree branches and sell them. But I'm sorry to say that no one else would be on that island with you. (Refer to the term stranded) So don't get too upset if you wouldn't receive any business.

3)Prevent yourself from going crazy/psych0! This happens all the time. Create a new sport with coconuts or something! I dunno! Persevere, persevere, persevere. That's all I can say.

4)Make sand sculptures of the people back home so you wont get too lonely. I mean look at it this way, you probably wouldn't be able to see them ever again. So you might as well have a decent substitute.(I'm so evil!)

Three years later, I was shocked to see the prices.

Clean your room! Why should I???

A word everyone wishes that they never have to face.
Cleaning.
Come on people.
We don't have a choice.
Since I have not done my lists in a long time, I decided this was a good time.
So today's list is....
Why should I clean my room?

1)To make sure you don't have a new species of fungus's breeding in your room. If you keep it there long enough it'll be mutated and I'm sure no one wants that.

2)Everyone knows this one. Prevent parents from screaming so loud that even the next neighbours could hear.

3)To find clothes that have been missing for months.

4)Discover new species' of animals/insects such as the cockamouse(cockroach and mouse. Imagine a mouse with antennas.)and the lizamoth(Lizard or also known as cicak and a moth. Imagine a flying cicak).

5)Save thousands! Instead of a dog or a cat, catch a cockroach or a lizard etc. and keep it as a pet. Anytime you feel its hungry set it free. If it doesn't come back (I'm sure it wont) then just get a new one. Our rooms have an endless supply of cockroaches and lizards.

6)A very high chance of finding money. Some might be lucky and others not so. Sometimes all I could find are 10 cent coins! WHY! But then again, if I'm lucky I get RM5! Hehehehe....

Where is the pot of gold?

There is a rainbow somewhere in the horizon.(Which happens to be in front of my house)

We had an Eclipse just the other day.

Not the book Eclipse but the real thing.

Anyway I wanted to take a look.

As soon as I saw the Eclipse my left eye was so painful and the next day it was red.

Anyway, since I did not get to see the real thing, I decided to make my own.

I just bought two great books on topics Ive been wanting to know more about for a very very long time.
Those books are Barack Obama Dreams From My Father and Luck of the Devil, The Story of Operation Valkyrie.
Kinokuniya was having a special sale on that day.
So I got 20% off each book!
Hahaha it sure was a good day for me.








The book on the left is Barack Obama Dreams From My Father at RM39.90 before discount.

This book is Barack Obama's remarkable life story in his own words.
I cant wait to read it!
Now, too much work to do hehehehe.

The book on the right is Luck of the Devil, The Story of Operation Valkyrie by Ian Kershaw.

This book is mainly about the July 1944 plot to kill Adolf Hitler.
You see, its sure is going to be a great book.
And if anyone is too tired to read to book, there is a movie coming out in Malaysia soon.

I'm not counting on it because the prices are very reasonable.

The Jelly Belly if I'm not mistaken is about RM9.90.

And the Wonka is about RM6.80.

Scenes in a cinema.

Yesterday night, I watched four Christmases.
The reason I'm telling you this is because there is more to a cinema than just buying a ticket, going in, and coming out again.
Lets take a look behind the scenes in an ordinary day in the cinema.

As soon as I bought the ticket, I went to get a drink.
I thought I was on schedule.
As soon as I entered cinema 6, it seemed that the movie had already started.
Oh joy....
I told myself it was not a problem.
Maybe I just missed about 3 or 4 minutes.
I took my seat.
There was a light illuminating the entire cinema and it was right next to me.
OWWWW.. My eyeballs hurt!!!
Soon after, I guess someone felt the same, so they went to complain.
Thank goodness. The light was off!
Now I can finally enjoy the movie.
Right?
WRONG!!!
My problems were just about to start.
As I was finally ecstatic that there wasn't any bright light burning my eyes and leading me to an early death, I heard something.
Someone in the cinema had a bracelet or necklace with bells on it.
Every time she turned or laughed, you could hear a ring!
Ring, ring, ring!
The sound of the bell nonstop!
Haha.
If you thought that was the end of it, you're wrong.
Right in front of me, a lady was criticising the movie a lot.
And I mean a LOT.
She kept saying things like.
EH, why that fella doing this, and why that fella doing that!
Practically throughout the entire movie she was complaining!
Haha. But to me it was super hilarious.
The next scene.
There was this fella to my left.
His handphone was ringing.
Everyone in the cinema heard.
Trying not to be rude, he picked up his phone.
HALLO!!!!!!
Whoa.
That fella talk so loud man.
Already just now my eyes burned!
And now I had a serious blow to my left ear.
Oww.
Its a good thing nothing else happened.
Otherwise I would have left the cinema.(Just kidding, I'll never waste the money I spent on that ticket!)
Anyway, there is more to a movie than just watching it.
This post proves that many things happen in a cinema than just watching a movie.
Am I right?
Anyway, I hope the next movie I get to watch is Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans!
Nobody wants to go with me!

Lenovo IdeaPad S10!
Its a netbook.
Before I carry on, let me clarify what a netbook is.
Netbooks are the smallest type of laptops. (even smaller than notebooks I guess)
And they are low cost, light weight, and energy efficient.
It will be super famous in 2009.
I bet you that.
Anyway, I need this net book!
lenovo IdeaPad S10.
It's got bluetooth, mic, 4 in 1 memory card reader, 2 USB slots (normal), 1.3 mega pixel camera(its good enough, at least we don't have to buy an external one, because its super bulky.)
Its screen is 10.1 inches, storage is 160GB and the price as stated in Hardware Magazine Malaysia is only RM1999!
But there are places which sell for only RM1699 if I'm not mistaken.
Very reasonable.
Why I need it?
Simple, I can bring it everywhere.
Go coffee bean or Starbucks can surf the net.
it can be carried everywhere because it weighs a mere 1.1kg!
Yeah, I know WOW!
I need my own net book so I can organize all my songs, videos, documents, etc.
Also, I really really need it for blogging!!!
That's the main reason . Haha.

Anyway, I have been saving some money for this net book.
The price is RM1699.
So far, I have about 5 ringgit.
Lets see, only RM1694 to go.
Oh man, that's a long way to go.
But never mind, I will try try try.
And pray pray pray.

There is a dent.
On my right finger.
I know, this is preposterous.
But I'm telling the truth!
My right finger looks dented.
The cause, too much homework.
(The truth is, I actually like doing homework.)

Then later on, my finger felt like a needle was piercing through my flesh.

Soon after, it looked like there was a dent in my finger.
For real!
No joke. I mean why should I lie about these things?

The funny thing is, first I had a so called paralyzed arm and now I have a dented finger.

I saw the driver in front.
And he was SMSing with BOTH HANDS!
No hands on the steering wheel!!!
How can like that!
The driver could have killed so many people.
He wasn't even looking straight, he was looking at his phone, SMSing, while driving.
Please let this be a lesson to everyone.
Don't drink and drive.
And do not SMS while driving.
Think of other peoples lives and your own.

I tried some Australian milk and it tasted nice and authentic.

I woke up this morning with my left arm very numb.

I went to school as usual.
In school, my foot got numb.
How to WALK!
Then from left arm to right arm.
Great, both my arms were numb!
Now I had two problems.
How to walk.
How to write.
I was practically paralyzed.
Basically my day was interesting.
I never felt like that before.
As I said, a different experience.

Today we got our shots. (Injections)
I don't even know what kind of medicine went into me.
I forgot. Haha.
Anyway my class got our shots right before recess.
I was the third person .
Painless.
I felt something, I thought they were having a test round before injecting me for real.
Turns out, it was the real thing.
Then I thought, this is a piece of cake.
I didn't know what was in store for me.
I went back to class relaxed.
I remember trying to grab something.
Suddenly I felt like someone was grabbing my arm.
Nobody there.
......................
Oh man, after effects.
They said this was gonna happen.
My left arm was NUMB!
Not pain at all...
Just numb.
Soon after that, my foot!
WHAT!
How did that happen?
From my arm to my foot.
Impossible.
Yet possible.
While I am writing this post, my fingers are numb.
Why you ask?
Don't ask me, ask the vaccine.
Very interesting experience.
To tell you the truth, I enjoyed it!
Something interesting finally happened.
Something interesting to blog about.
And it seems that the numbness lasts for 3 days to 1 week.
Don't worry, I will be fine.

One portion can be shared by two people.

My previous posts showed that my little cousin Nevin was a destroyer of all things big and small.

Well, this post shows that he has a soft spot too.

A post on my new years resolutions.

1)Talk less. A lot less.

2)Sleep much earlier.

3)Help out around the house more.

4)Lose the extra extra pounds I have on me.

5)Eat more green veggies.

6)Try to blog every single day no matter what.

The year 2008 had its ups and downs.
But I'm hoping that 2009 will be a better year for us all.
