A beaker, cylinder and test tube.

Another day in the Science Lab.
Another story to tell.
Probably one of the most interesting Lab stories that I have ever encountered so far.
____________________________
We were boiling some solution.
It was purple.
And it stains.
REALLY STAINS.
Anyway, my friends and I were boiling the solution on the bunsen burner in a test tube with a glass rod in it.
Right after the experiment, we immediately took the test tube and glass rod out to clean it.
We brought it to the nearest sink.
Unfortunately, the purple liquid was stuck in the glass rod.
We couldn't figure out a way to get it out of the glass rod.
1,2,3 SQUIRT.
HA?
What was that!
The Solution squirted out of the glass rod and stained the white wall PURPLE!
What to do what to do?????
We did the usual.
Panicked.
It wasn't our fault was it????
Teacher was coming.
Panic level had increased by a percentage which doesn't even exist.
Someone took a tissue in a split second, wiped that thing off, and returned to base just on time.
Teacher came, she did not realize anything.
PHEW.
Thank goodness!
Sad to say, the stain still lies on the wall.
I wonder when someone is ever going to realize it.

10 things about self quarantine. (my version)

Ok.
Everyone now knows that if a person has just came back from a vacation abroad, self quarantine is necessary.
For those of you who have no idea, I gotta ask, have you been living in a cave?
Anyway, today, on the front page of The Star, they published a whole section on 10 things about self quarantine.
I felt that it needed a little spicing up.
So this is what I came up with.
Sorry to say it's less than ten.
I couldn't think of anymore.
Hahaaaa.

10 Things (or less) about self quarantine.
1)Stay home for the entire duration imposed and keep away from family members. Positive effects- A great way for slackers to get away from school or work. Go near a foreigner or take a picture with them. Show the picture to your teacher and tell them that you have been abroad. And that's your ticket to a one week period of being self quarantined. As for the staying away from family members part, who doesn't like a moment of silence since we no longer have to put up with parents screaming their heads off.

2)Do not leave home especially for tuition classes and weddings. Positive effects-OOoooOOhh, this sure is a good one. No tuition!!!! That must be great for those of you who actually go tuition. I don't go, so I wouldn't know.Hehe. Not going for weddings! Thats the best thing I have heard so far! We don't have to listen to relatives bragging about their kids anymore! Thank goodness. No need to worry about starting conversations. No worries about offending people.

3)Get help from others to obtain daily necessities or food. Positive effects-Please do yourself a favour and make full use of this advantage. I can visualize it now.

' darling, what do you what to eat?'

'oh, simple! a rib eye steak from Chilis, angel hair pasta from pasta mania, a smoothie from juice lab, 2 chocolate marshmellow brownies, 4# cheese pizza from yellow cab, lamb chop from Madam Kwans, La Bodega escargot, and anything else you can find'

'ha! you crazy ah?

'you ask, I answer lah! Eh, better buy for me you know, pity me lah, I very very sick. This sick can die me! Very lethal. Like kung fu movie. One time kena pow can KO.'

Yeah, just as I pictured it.

4)Avoid contact with people who help.-Hold on hold on. I don't get it. The previous point in the newspaper said that we should get help from others. This point says we can't. This sure is confusing.

5)Wear a mask at all times-Positive effects. Come on now. We can all start a trend! Masks everywhere. Add some style to the mask. Decorate it or something. Sell masks as a living. Do something do anything!Helps hide your ghastly pimples too.

6)Follow updates on influenza A on the tv. Positive- You know you're gonna love this. As you follow the updates on the tv, when no one is looking, turn into ninja mode and swiftly grab the remote to change the channel. For an hour or so, you can watch your favourite shows in peace. Well, unless a parent comes in and grounds you for a month or so. Haha.

well, that's it for today.
please stay tuned for more updates on the H1N1 virus.

WARNING AND PRECAUTION: All the information which is available on this post is -10% accurate. 50 people have tried and all 50 of them had many after effects (not good ones. lol)
Well, you can't blame me! I said my ideas were good, not effective ok?

If you are reading this sentence, it means you have been a loyal reader to get this far into a post.
Let me express my appreciation by saying.
Thanks.
And no, you don't get a gift.
Tehee!

H1N1

Yeah, I know.
PANIC PANIC!
Well, things are working out a tad bit differently around here.
Instead of worrying, pulling out bundles of hair and attempting murder, we are actually excited.
We are now awaiting news which could change the fate of us students.
Wait for it......

NO SCHOOL FOR A WEEK.
I am only assuming.
Don't jump off a building or shed tears of joy just yet.
Please don't embarrass yourself, just be patient.
We will know soon enough.

wohoooooo!
(This word was brought to you by The Sham WOO HOO! Did I get that right? sorry)

The chronicles of an angel/demon Part 2.

Yeah.

Another post about my cousin,Nevin.
But this time, its actually interesting.
Lets begin.

Look at these pictures.
I know what you're thinking.
Crazily cute! (Is that even a word?)
Well, these two pictures were taken three years ago when he was just 2 years old.
Its too cute to be true right?
Well, its all about to change.

Remember the days we used to tell mum or dad 'don't worry, I will never change'.
The exact opposite happened to this cute and innocent baby.

Long forgotten.

I have not done one of these in a very long time!
Well, I'm back.
Time for lists.
Today's topic.
Reasons to laminate a certificate.
(Yeah, I know. Odd Right?)
Lets start shall we?

1) Prevent it from being mistook as a toilet paper. (It happens!)

2)Prevent someone else from writing their name on it. It doesn't matter what hurdles or challenges you had to face to get that certificate. No lamination, no use.

3) Sabotage. We love to do that don't we? That is why lamination is the answer. Don't want people to rip your certificate? Then get a lamination job done. I know what you're thinking, people can just cut the certificate even after its laminated. Errmmmm. Sorry, but you're on your own if that ever happens.

4)Got a little brother or sister? Then read this number. Your certificate might just be the masterpice of your little brother/sister. Answer me this. Do you think a certificate looks good with paint and crayons? Then, do yourself a favour and please please please LAMINATE.

This might be a very odd post.
A very very odd post.
But there is a hidden meaning.
Erm, well there isnt actually.
But seriously, lamination is the best thing to do.
Why?
I just told you.
Argh.
Sorry, please ignore a person that is high on sarcasm.
Have a nice day!

Tales of the spinning broom

During recess.
There was a broom.
By the corner.
It was that time of the week again.
floor swepin.
I was with 2 other friends there.
Anyway, I swept too hard and one thing led to the other.
I got chased around the class with a broom in my hand.
Like a mad fella.
I stopped at one corner and my inner crouching tiger got unleashed.
Prepare for doom!
I spun the broom to defend myself.
And pow. I got them good.
You guys got scared didn't you?
Hehe. Happy Sir Pudding? You know who you are, or shall I say LC!
No 100 question tag for me ok!

Wrong choice of words.

Right after sports today, we did some art in class.
The class nearby was having an exam.
So, as all of you have guessed, we did not fulfill what was requested.
We made noise.
We made A LOT of noise.
As we continued with our daily noise making, someone out of the blues got angry.
That person told us to keep quiet.
I was still wondering who on earth that was.
But it didnt really matter.
Because I can never forget what she said next.
She said: Everyone! Quiet lah! Remember, SILENCE IS PATIENCE!
Everyone started laughing.
She was wondering what was going on.
Instead of a trying to produce a calm and quiet environment it became noisier than before.
Some people shouted back at her: Its not silence is patience! Its Silence is virtue!
OH MAN.
Come on, it was wrong again!
NO one got it right!
Hahahahhahahaaaa.
It was so entertaining.
SILENCE IS GOLDEN.
That is the right one hehe.
Well, to tell you the truth, even I was a bit confused.
Anywaayyy,,,,,
I couldn't stop laughing.
Till now.
Im laughing not only because the incident was super funny, but because I just took lots of chocolate. ( I got a sugar rush now tehee.)
If only you guys were they to witness it haha.
Priceless.

Crumpler, the strongest bag ever is now a lifesaver.

A normal day. That is how it started for me.
But it was not about to end the way it started.
I was on the way down the steps with my Crumpler.
Then I wanted to slide down the steps as I usually do. (I save so much time!)
Well, sad to say it turned out differently today.
I slipped and slid all the way down the staircase.
Why am I still alive?
Why am I still writing this post?
Well, the Crumpler broke my fall.
No jokes.
Ask my friends.
The rock solid everlasting bag has another thing to add to its list.
Life saver.

Thursday, April 30, 2009

Oops. Change of plans.

Went to KLCC with hopes of returning with my very own orange Toshi Squirts.
I entered the Crumpler shop.
I was in heaven.
NEW STOCK!
I completely forgot about Toshi Squirts.
I saw the Barney Rustle Blanket Range and I went crazy.
How long was I there?
Even I lost count.
I left there with a green and yellow Barney Rustle Blanket.
And a mini box of crumpler matches.
By the way, it looks exactly like my Raygun Famous Winebar.
Coincidence? I think not. (Or the other way around.Well, I dunno!)

Tales of the fractioned cockroach.

A story.
Not boring.
It happened like so....
______________________
I was drinking a strawberry, apple, and banana smoothie.(Odd Combo)
I was drinking it the way everyone drinks.
I changed nothing about my daily schedule.
As I was drinking I heard something.
And it wasn't pretty.
I heard something got sliced.
The situation was bad.
What got sliced, what got sliced.
I kept repeating those words in my mind.
The tension was killing me!
And soon enough, what I expected to happen actually happened.
I was soon going to find out what had gotten sliced.
IT LANDED RIGHT NEXT TO MY SMOOTHIE.
I am just thankful it didn't land in my cup.
What was it?
Half a cockroach which was originally a full adult sized cockroach.
Before making its way next to my cup, it was firstly cut in half by the razor sharp blades of my ceiling fan.
Look on the bright side of this situation.
I wouldn't have to waste money on bug spray.
I have a whole new and effective way of getting rid of cockroaches.
A ceiling fan.

What in the Grape?

Grape.
A fruit.
We all think its small.
But you have never seen it this small.
Trust me.
A one in a million chance (well, I exaggerated a wee bit there).
To get a grape this small.
Scroll slowly to be mind boggled(Sorry, I'm a bit high on exaggerations today)
This is the size of normal, ordinary grape.(The picture above)
Prepare to be amazed.
Ready for one of the smallest grapes that I have ever seen?
Brace yourselves!

Haha.I told you I wasn't exaggerating!

The little grape is the same size as the seed of the bigger grape.

The ultimate comparison.

Big grape vs little grape.

How did I ever discover this?

The answer is that I have nothing else better to do.

Just kidding around.

By the way 2nd Intervensi is over and I am very hyper and sarcastic.(Especially the sarcastic part)

WARNING-Don't talk to me these few days if you simply despise sarcastic people.

Thanks for reading.C.R.

Oh so sweet.

I have made it.
I have officially found Wonka in a normal supermarket.
No more buying in fancy overpriced stores.
I got a huge packet of Wonka Nerds, Gobstoppers(Jaw breakers), Nerds Rope, and Shockers.
Two years ago, I got the Nerds for RM17.00.
A few days back, I bought the exact same packet for RM6.95!
Each of these sweets cost RM6.95.
As in
-Wonka Nerds RM6.95
-Wonka Gobstoppers RM6.95
-Wonka Nerds Rope RM6.95
-Wonka Shockers RM6.95
Get the idea?
Really cheap for imported products.
Anyone wanna buy?
I bought mine at Mercato in Pavilion.
But you could also get it at Ikano or The Curve.
Get yours today!
Enjoy....

Sorry, the Rubiks got lost somehow.

warning abandoned blog. (temporarily)

1 week without blogging.
I never thought I would ever see myself write these words.
I couldn't help it.
I just couldn't.
Anyway, never fear.
Since my mind has temporarily stopped functioning, I can only post something tomorrow.
I could blog now but no reaction or understanding will come from my fellow readers. (seriously, the situation has gotten this bad)
If you do not understand what I'm saying, I can tell you one thing , I told you so.(refer to the previous line)
If you still don't get it, don't do anything irrational.
All I'm trying to say is, that I have not ended my blogging lifestyle.
I am indeed still active in the blogging field and I have no intentions of quitting.
I just took a week off to look at the greener side of life.
But since people are cutting down trees each day, life isn't so green anymore.
...................................................
Are you really getting angry with me?
Chill.
For something completely understandable, stay tuned for tomorrows post.
Super interesting.
I'm sure you'll love it.

Saturday, April 4, 2009

That's odd?

Yeah, I know what you're thinking.
Is is a ball?
Is it a paper weight?
Well you're all wrong.
You wont believe this.
But it's a PEAR.
Again, I know what you're thinking.
WHOA.
That's what I thought.
(Haha)
The first pear in my life that I couldn't finish eating.
And most certainly the biggest and sweetest.
Remember the proverb great things come in little packages?
Well, in this case, great things come in big ones.

earth hour

Here it is.
Earth hour statistics.
Pictures before and after.
Not many people voted earth.(In case your finger is currently scratching your head, vote earth=lights off.)
I turned off the lights, fans and main power sources.
I sure did VOTE EARTH.
So here is my report on Earth Hour.

The houses behind my house sure did vote! Complete blackout. Its great to see people who care about earth hour.
Inside my house. Based on the picture, you can conclude that I myself VOTED EARTH! Haha. It was this dark for an hour. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was interesting.hehe.
I know what you're thinking. Why is there a light? Well I have a perfectly good and solid explanation for that. My mum was indeed using the laptop BUT WITHOUT ANY POWER CORD. It just ran on batteries. That was totally not cheating. (Really! Please believe me!)
KLCC during earth hour. I have never seen it like this before! Dark, mysterious and emo. Ahahaaa.(Please ignore that last bit.hehe.)
KLCC after Earth Hour. I was there when they just turned on the lights. It was brighter than ever and lots of people were hanging around there. I have no idea why.
Earth Hour was great.
A one of a kind experience.
I hope the message of saving energy will reach everyone on earth.
I hope that change will come.
You help, I help, we all help.
Together, we can change our Earth.
Act now, or regret later.
