Anyone missed the Eclipse?

We had an Eclipse just the other day.

Not the book Eclipse but the real thing.

Anyway I wanted to take a look.

As soon as I saw the Eclipse my left eye was so painful and the next day it was red.

Yeah, I know OOWW.

Anyway, since I did not get to see the real thing, I decided to make my own.

With a flashlight.

I know what you're thinking.

How could I stoop this low.

Well as you are about to see, I did stoop that low.

I just bought two great books on topics Ive been wanting to know more about for a very very long time.
Those books are Barack Obama Dreams From My Father and Luck of the Devil, The Story of Operation Valkyrie.
Kinokuniya was having a special sale on that day.
So I got 20% off each book!
Hahaha it sure was a good day for me.








The book on the left is Barack Obama Dreams From My Father at RM39.90 before discount.
No 1 International Bestseller.
This book is Barack Obama's remarkable life story in his own words.
I cant wait to read it!
Now, too much work to do hehehehe.

The book on the right is Luck of the Devil, The Story of Operation Valkyrie by Ian Kershaw.
RM43.95 before discount.
This book is mainly about the July 1944 plot to kill Adolf Hitler.
You see, its sure is going to be a great book.
And if anyone is too tired to read to book, there is a movie coming out in Malaysia soon.
Entitled Valkyrie which is starred by Tom Cruise.

Most people don't believe me when I said there was Wonka in Malaysia.

So I took the liberty of buying a packet for blogging purposes.

Not only that, but I bought some Jelly Belly too.

Now no one has to worry anymore!

You don't have to go to Australia to buy Jelly Belly or Wonka.

We have it right here in our country!

And here is the proof.

Okay.

Time for the heart wrenching part.

The price.

But you have to take it this way.

They have to import all the way from the other part of the world.

And that alone costs a lot.

So don't get a stroke when I tell you the price.

I'm not counting on it because the prices are very reasonable.

The Jelly Belly if I'm not mistaken is about RM9.90.

And the Wonka is about RM6.80.

See!

I told you.

Not that bad.

Scenes in a cinema.

Yesterday night, I watched four Christmases.
The reason I'm telling you this is because there is more to a cinema than just buying a ticket, going in, and coming out again.
Lets take a look behind the scenes in an ordinary day in the cinema.

As soon as I bought the ticket, I went to get a drink.
I thought I was on schedule.
As soon as I entered cinema 6, it seemed that the movie had already started.
Oh joy....
I told myself it was not a problem.
Maybe I just missed about 3 or 4 minutes.
I took my seat.
There was a light illuminating the entire cinema and it was right next to me.
OWWWW.. My eyeballs hurt!!!
Soon after, I guess someone felt the same, so they went to complain.
Thank goodness. The light was off!
Now I can finally enjoy the movie.
Right?
WRONG!!!
My problems were just about to start.
As I was finally ecstatic that there wasn't any bright light burning my eyes and leading me to an early death, I heard something.
Someone in the cinema had a bracelet or necklace with bells on it.
Every time she turned or laughed, you could hear a ring!
Ring, ring, ring!
The sound of the bell nonstop!
Haha.
If you thought that was the end of it, you're wrong.
Right in front of me, a lady was criticising the movie a lot.
And I mean a LOT.
She kept saying things like.
EH, why that fella doing this, and why that fella doing that!
Practically throughout the entire movie she was complaining!
Haha. But to me it was super hilarious.
The next scene.
There was this fella to my left.
His handphone was ringing.
Everyone in the cinema heard.
Trying not to be rude, he picked up his phone.
HALLO!!!!!!
Whoa.
That fella talk so loud man.
Already just now my eyes burned!
And now I had a serious blow to my left ear.
Oww.
Its a good thing nothing else happened.
Otherwise I would have left the cinema.(Just kidding, I'll never waste the money I spent on that ticket!)
Anyway, there is more to a movie than just watching it.
This post proves that many things happen in a cinema than just watching a movie.
Am I right?
Anyway, I hope the next movie I get to watch is Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans!
Nobody wants to go with me!

What I need now?
Lenovo IdeaPad S10!
Its a netbook.
Before I carry on, let me clarify what a netbook is.
Netbooks are the smallest type of laptops. (even smaller than notebooks I guess)
And they are low cost, light weight, and energy efficient.
It will be super famous in 2009.
I bet you that.
Anyway, I need this net book!
lenovo IdeaPad S10.
It's got bluetooth, mic, 4 in 1 memory card reader, 2 USB slots (normal), 1.3 mega pixel camera(its good enough, at least we don't have to buy an external one, because its super bulky.)
Its screen is 10.1 inches, storage is 160GB and the price as stated in Hardware Magazine Malaysia is only RM1999!
But there are places which sell for only RM1699 if I'm not mistaken.
Very reasonable.
Why I need it?
Simple, I can bring it everywhere.
Go coffee bean or Starbucks can surf the net.
it can be carried everywhere because it weighs a mere 1.1kg!
Yeah, I know WOW!
I need my own net book so I can organize all my songs, videos, documents, etc.
Also, I really really need it for blogging!!!
That's the main reason . Haha.

Anyway, I have been saving some money for this net book.
The price is RM1699.
So far, I have about 5 ringgit.
Lets see, only RM1694 to go.
Oh man, that's a long way to go.
But never mind, I will try try try.
And pray pray pray.
Hopefully a miracle will happen.
But that is not guaranteed.

There is a dent.

There is a dent.
On my right finger.
I know, this is preposterous.
But I'm telling the truth!
My right finger looks dented.
The cause, too much homework.
(The truth is, I actually like doing homework.)
Anyway, I was doing some writing.
Then later on, my finger felt like a needle was piercing through my flesh.
OWW!
Soon after, it looked like there was a dent in my finger.
For real!
No joke. I mean why should I lie about these things?
Am I right?
Haha. This is a very very very unusual situation.
By the way, I've got to go pack for school now.
The funny thing is, first I had a so called paralyzed arm and now I have a dented finger.
Great, just great.

I was on the way home in the car today.
Before turning left, I looked into another car.
(I'm not a stalker or anything.)
I saw the driver in front.
And he was SMSing with BOTH HANDS!
No hands on the steering wheel!!!
How can like that!
The driver could have killed so many people.
He wasn't even looking straight, he was looking at his phone, SMSing, while driving.
Please let this be a lesson to everyone.
Don't drink and drive.
And do not SMS while driving.
Think of other peoples lives and your own.

Lots of people in Malaysia search all over the place for Wonka Candy.

As in the Candy from the Movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Sadly, they only sell it in America, Australia etc.

But you will be happy to hear that there are shops in KL that sell Wonka!

They sell a lot of Wonka candy including their popular 'Nerds'.

The store is located in the party shop in Ikano which is the same building as Ikea in Mutiara Damansara.

Milk. So same yet so different.

Milk.
I thought it was all the same.
But its different.
I tried some Australian milk and it tasted nice and authentic.
Then I tried some other milk and it tasted different.
And I wondered if something was wrong with my taste buds.
I don't think so.
Then I started thinking if the milk I drank was tinted with melamine!
DIE man.
Seriously I mean DIE.
Till now, I do not know why the milk tasted different.
Its just another mystery that I would never get to solve.

I am paralyzed.

I've been going everywhere saying that word.
The injection I took yesterday had a side effect.
I knew this was gonna happen.
I was prepared.
Haaayyyaahhhh!
I woke up this morning with my left arm very numb.
It's not painful, its just numb.
Then singing Linkin Park song-Numb.
Haha.
I went to school as usual.
In school, my foot got numb.
How to WALK!
Then from left arm to right arm.
Great, both my arms were numb!
Now I had two problems.
How to walk.
How to write.
I was practically paralyzed.
Basically my day was interesting.
I never felt like that before.
As I said, a different experience.
Anyone want an adventure?
Get an injection.
Trust me, that is more than enough for someone seeking for an adventure.

I got shot.

Relax.
I meant it in a different way.
I didn't get injured or DIE!
If I was dead, I wouldn't be writing this post right?
Anyway, let me clarify the title of this post.
Today we got our shots. (Injections)
I don't even know what kind of medicine went into me.
I forgot. Haha.
Anyway my class got our shots right before recess.
I was the third person .
Painless.
I felt something, I thought they were having a test round before injecting me for real.
Turns out, it was the real thing.
Then I thought, this is a piece of cake.
I didn't know what was in store for me.
I went back to class relaxed.
I remember trying to grab something.
Suddenly I felt like someone was grabbing my arm.
Nobody there.
......................
Oh man, after effects.
They said this was gonna happen.
My left arm was NUMB!
Not pain at all...
Just numb.
Soon after that, my foot!
WHAT!
How did that happen?
From my arm to my foot.
Impossible.
Yet possible.
While I am writing this post, my fingers are numb.
Why you ask?
Don't ask me, ask the vaccine.
Very interesting experience.
To tell you the truth, I enjoyed it!
Something interesting finally happened.
Something interesting to blog about.
And it seems that the numbness lasts for 3 days to 1 week.
Don't worry, I will be fine.
To all my other friends who got injected, good luck to a week of feeling numb.

My Sleep Deprivation continues.
I lack lots of sleep.
And I mean A LOT.
All I think about saying is hand me a bed this instant!
I might even doze off while writing this post. (But I wont)
That is how tired I am.
As I said before, Saturday is near.
The countdown continues.
2 more days till Saturday.
I might never wake up again once I sleep on Saturday.
I shall be like someone in a coma.
Who can never be woken up!

As you know, school started yesterday.
And I am so sorry for abandoning my blog!

I almost fell asleep so many times.
But I persevered and fought on.

And I'm still awake now.

I've been there like 8 times.(Maybe even more!)

One of the best places I've ever been too.

And the prices are very reasonable.

The layout and setting of the whole place is great.

Very subtle and comforting.

Not only that but the portions are big.

One portion can be shared by two people.

By the Way these are some of the food that I ordered.

Whenever I look at it I go crazy.

Its too good.

Its even looks good in pictures!

My previous posts showed that my little cousin Nevin was a destroyer of all things big and small.

Well, this post shows that he has a soft spot too.

As you know, Nevin's number one hobby is destroying things.
